In her role as Director of United Nations Affairs for B'nai B'rith International, Sybil Kessler conducts advocacy and programming in order to advance B'nai B'rith policy on UN matters such as combating anti-semitism and anti-Zionism at the U.N, and promoting human rights and humanitarian affairs. Prior to working at BBI, she worked for the American Jewish Committee's Jacob Blaustein Institute for the Advancement of Human Rights and in 2001 she represented Hadassah at the UN World Conference Against Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerance in Durban, South Africa. With a focus on universal human rights and religious identity, her main interests lie in Israel and the role of non governmental organizations (NGO's) and civil society.
