FORGIVENESS is a beautifully shot, eerie psycho-political thriller about David, a handsome young American Jew (Itay Tiran) who falls in love with a Palestinian woman (top-notch actress Clara Khoury) in New York. David discovers that he had been committed to a mental institution built on the ruins of a Palestinian village; his guide on this strange journey between dream and reality is The Muselmann, a Holocaust survivor and fellow patient, who tries to save David by communicating with the ghosts of the murdered villagers.
