Join us as Environmental Engineer and Fulbright Scholar Dr. Michal Perle-Kellner discusses Israel’s cutting-edge advancement in environmental technology. Dr. Perle-Kellner will address Israel’s unique environmental challenges and innovations used to achieve high-level conservation.
Dr. Perle-Kellner is the only Israeli candidate selected for the 2007-2008 Humphrey Fulbright Fellowship program, sponsored by the US Department of State. She studied at the Technion for 10 years, and is currently participating in the program at Penn State University to enhance her knowledge of soil and water remediation technologies, implementation, and economic aspects, as well as pollution remediation with respect to legislation and regulation in the U.S.
Dr. Perle-Kellner has been working as a professional environmental engineer for more than 16 years. She is active in the environmental regulatory processes in Israel and highly influences and promotes environmental issues and improvement of public health in Israel.
